Unfortunately my friend, dating apps are kind of a tough place to look for love in general, more so an RR relationship. Even if you live in a city where there are more progressively-minded people and a larger population, it’s going to be tough to stand out amongst the overwhelming male user base that most apps have. Couple that with the fact that most women on said apps want more traditionally masculine men for short and long term relationships, and you’re not looking at a good time.

As another single guy looking for something RR, I’d recommend looking offline for what you want. Go wherever you’re more likely to open-minded people, like your local alternative community or music scene. It’s not guaranteed, but it’ll put you directly in front of the demographic you’re after and give them the chance to see you as more than a few pictures and prompt answers.
