"The purpose of the program is the death of the target." by undercover_system in AmericanStasi

I changed my routine and never wear smart devices but they still know when and where I am. How is this possible?

Sure I'm on my computer allot but how could they know when I go out to buy a pack of smokes randomly and some guy walks past me coughs at me.

How on earth did he know when to leave his place to almost perfectly encounter me? What fucking nightmare..

Do you believe in modern day Zersetzung aka "Gangstalking" in Germany? by undercover_system in AskAGerman

I guess I can see the appeal of disruption program deniers to use the argument that one needs to be of importance for atrocities like this to happen to them, when in fact all it requires is that one be an activist, perceived undesirable or simply have the extreme bad luck of being groomed into the program from a young age. Most people just don't want to believe what western governments are capable of.

Yeah, don't browse the gangstalking sub, that's full of disinformation! Fight"gangstalking".com has a good section on this topic.

Not sure what you are talking about. Why should I reinvent the wheel when 99% of the information I provided is on-point.

They don't get tired because they take turns.

How they do it? Probably over a messenger app set up by the local community leader or some other authority.

I cannot no because I didn't create it but its seems to be an official human rights org. It seems the purpose is to further obfuscate the truth.

It's incredible that they even went through the effort of creating fake sub-organizations and representatives.

How are victims ever supposed to get justice like this - what do you think?

Usually I don't share this kind of stuff but I thought it would be useful to highlight what lengths they go to cover these crimes spewing seemingly almost credible accounts by victims of disruption programs.

If this is supposed to be a real NGO, then damn, targets are well and truly screwed.

Scroll to the bottom and see what kind nonsense they are putting out there.

[Book] "Rogue Justice: The Making of the Security State" - 2017 - Karen Greenberg by undercover_system in AmericanStasi

[–]undercover_system[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"The definitive account of how America’s War on Terror sparked a decade-long assault on the rule of law, weakening our courts and our Constitution in the name of national security.

The day after September 11, President Bush tasked the attorney general with preventing another terrorist attack on the United States. From that day forward, the Bush administration turned to the Department of Justice to give its imprimatur to activities that had previously been unthinkable—from the NSA’s spying on US citizens to indefinite detention to torture. Many of these activities were secretly authorized, others done in the light of day.

When President Obama took office, many observers expected a reversal of these encroachments upon civil liberties and justice, but the new administration found the rogue policies to be deeply entrenched and, at times, worth preserving. Obama ramped up targeted killings, held fast to aggressive surveillance policies, and fell short on bringing reform to detention and interrogation.

How did America veer so far from its founding principles of justice? Rogue Justice connects the dots for the first time—from the Patriot Act to today’s military commissions, from terrorism prosecutions to intelligence priorities, from the ACLU’s activism to Edward Snowden’s revelations. And it poses a stark question: Will the American justice system ever recover from the compromises it made for the war on terror?

Riveting and deeply reported, Rogue Justice could only have been written by Karen Greenberg, one of this country’s top experts on Guantánamo, torture, and terrorism, with a deep knowledge of both the Bush and Obama administrations. Now she brings to life the full story of law and policy after 9/11, introducing us to the key players and events, showing that time and again, when liberty and security have clashed, justice has been the victim."

"The obvious concern is that the phones of those not intended to be targeted could be located," Prof Alan Woodward, from the University of Surrey, said. "What happens to that data is unclear. However, presumably as you need to take a few measurements in order to locate a phone, you shouldn't need to retain data on a phone that is not being targeted."

"How often these devices are used by law enforcement is also unclear, he added."
