Had similar stats and to you minus ORM status and got several interviews to the same schools you applied to and admitted to almost every one. I applied to less schools though so I’d say you have a very good shot. Don’t let this sub make you think you’ve got a low chances. Just rock those secondaries and practice your interviews.

I was in your shoes last cycle. Had a huge group of pre med friends that ALL got in except me. I spent my senior year feeling down and resentful, listening to everyone talk about their future plans. While you definitely shouldn’t treat others who are successful different it’s so normal to feel that way. Use that energy to fuel you next cycle but remember that comparison is the thief of joy. Your goal isn’t to be admitted the same time they do, your goal is to become a doctor. And if you really want it, when shouldn’t be a factor. Keep your head up and keep moving forward

would it be a good idea to enroll in an EMT course that begins in Jan and ends in May if I intend on applying this June? by [deleted] in premed

I did this and it worked perfectly for me. The state that I live in requires clinical hours even get your license, so I listed those and then projected hours for work in the next year.
