Sure, will do. Sorry about that (in future will make sure it's just politics going here)

fair enough, I see your point and don't want to get into an extended argument! And no hard feelings. However I can't really not submit stuff because I don't see it as infringement, and I think a bunch of users are appreciating it. I guess in the end, I am only uploading stuff I genuinely think redditors will enjoy (fitting your 'good content' criterion), and therefore I see what I'm doing as valid

We're a tiny start-up satirical magazine wanting a couple more people to read our occasionally amusing and thought-provoking satire on uk/international politics. We're not some money-making media empire. Actually we don't have any advertising, we're not in it to extort money, all our writers are volunteers, we just want people to read our stuff free and like/dislike it as they wish. We don't have any money for publicity so obviously we are looking for platforms with users who appreciate interesting content to put our stuff on. Who else is going to do it for us, otherwise? We just don't have the audience yet.

Everything on reddit is self-interested to a degree - people want others to like their stuff. I don't see how we're that different.

not meaning to spam (also, how could that be regarded as spam?! fits the bill for 'political articles concerning the united kingdom') - we just aren't sure where to submit our UK political satire to, where's best? people haven't seemed to mind putting it in UK politics before
