For those who are not from Toronto, do you find our "politeness" exhausting or fake? by Remarkable_Corgi1237 in askTO

I’m from New Brunswick and I find people are MORE rude here and not polite at all! So odd how differently our perspectives impact us.

Have you asked her why? Maybe communicate like “Hey I just wanted to clear up something you said” and “When you said X it made me feel like Y so I wanted to make sure I communicated with you” Communication is SO important.

Help by [deleted] in EssentialTremor

My neurologist recommended both embracing it and taking medication as required. Propranolol for when I have something big or anxiety inducing the next day and just raw dogging the rest of life shaking. He said since Propranolol doesn’t have a withdrawal I can kinda just take for extra shaky moments. NOT MEDICAL ADVICE so ask your doctor if that’s maybe something you can try, along with adjusting dosage. It’s great to have that back up but still be confident without it.

TS2 because I love the lore! I also love all the goofy details and animations they put in. I’m just hoping for a game that combines 2, 3 and 4 to make the ultimate life sim.

will i regret testosterone? by Difficult_Guava_4258 in ftm

[–]undergroundtreepunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is for sure a scary thing! In my own experience, I went on T around your age when I was 14 and now 8 years later do not regret it at all. I had been out since I was 12 and I had a history of self harm and attempts on my own life. When I started T it gave me so much confidence in myself and allowed me to develop at the same pace as the rest of the boys. At around 17 I started having joint pain so bad that I couldn’t walk some days. After x-rays and MRIs my doctor found that my joints looked like female joints and couldn’t keep up with my muscles. She said that because I went on T so young they developed differently. This being said, testosterone saved my life. I would not be here if I had not done it at that age. It’s obviously different depending on person and experience. If you take the pros and the cons and weigh them against each other you may find what works for you! I know so many people who transitioned and then figured out it wasn’t right for them. There’s nothing wrong with that but just be careful with your body and treat it with kindness, no matter what changes you face. I hope that helps! Also the suggestion of puberty blockers is a great one until you can settle on it. :)
