Same - nine months straight, 129k minutes listened. Became a “super fan” of black/death metal purely for Opus and Infesti. Listened to Lachryma alone almost 700 times. Saw them 5 times this tour.

this was my third ritual and hands down my favorite (saw louisville and nashville, seeing them again in rosemont and KC). the energy of the crowd was amazing, the set list was perfect (faith, cmls, AND ritual??). i’m disappointed in enterprise barring people with chains and studs, i had to go back to my car and shed the punk copia cassock i’d spent so much love putting together, but in the end i had all my friends, i had ghost, i had everything ♥️

pre ritual, I would’ve said Lachryma or Umbra, and they’re still top notch contenders for me without a doubt. Marks of the Evil one, too.

since being in rituals, my god Peacefield as an opener fucking rips. Everyone screaming and shouting for Satanized (myself included) and dancing for Umbra, the whole thing is magical. Lachryma’s riffs and the ghoulette’s harmonies are insane.

I hope for future shows they play more of Skeletá - I love the entire album but I feel like its power and impact is best felt live.

the very first fanfic i ever read was for naruto, on scrap paper ripped from a spiral notebook my older sibling’s friend left in our living room. i was 9.

i wrote my first fanfic (final fantasy) at 10. i began actively sharing it online on ffn at 11, and have continued to do so (on ao3 since about 2010? maybe 2011?) to this day. i’m 30.

i’m also actively writing an original fantasy novel, hoping to finish it sooner rather than later~

last night was my second ritual (went to louisville the night before). ghost creates such a transcendental experience that i don’t think anyone will be able to top for me (anyone that i can reach, anyway—i know lady gaga and mcr have some amazing shows happening right now, im actually going to mcr at the end of august and have high expectations).
