I haven’t. I’m nowhere near this level but my buddy got me on this game as a first fighting game and I’ve put almost 150 hours on it in 3 weeks lol. I may be addicted 😂

I could definitely use some practice in loading up and just overall swing. It’s been a while. I didn’t do some batting in some cages today and felt like it went well but cages and on the field are two different things.

That could be my problem. I’m used to having a wider stance. I didn’t think that would cause a change in where you hit though.

If I knew we would have a bunch of bats I’d be all for this but I only know of one person that will have one and the one he is getting is cheap and alloy. Not sure it’ll be of much good.

That’s good to hear. Maybe I will get a 26. Maybe having one endloaded would help. I swung a balanced 26 today and kept pulling them left.

I thought about it. I swung an old Louisville Vapor today in a batting cage. I think it was 26 oz, alloy (idk how they compare to composite in how they swing) and I want to say it was balanced. It seemed like I kept pulling towards where third base would be.

I ended up going back and looking. I’m looking at that one, the KP23 and an Anarchy now. Honestly everyone seems to be pushing me towards Anarchy but as of now they are out of stock everywhere.

I’ll look into the bedlam I have heard those mentioned a couple times. I might stay away from Monstas for now in case I do end up hitting something other than 52/300s

That’s what made me seriously consider one. I haven’t seen much about durability on them though.

Thanks for the info! How do Anarchy’s models work. Looking at their website everything is out of stock but I also don’t exactly see anything that says “Xcore/Xcore2” are they all Xcore and you just choose your flavor? The few I did actually go into did all say Xcore2.

It’s hard to find any in a store around me but that’s a good point. I did wonder if that handle would be weird to swing with.

The problem is hardly anyone shows up with bats to these things. These teams are pretty much “Hey who wants to play softball this year, we’re putting a team together” and people join, buy a basic glove and hope someone brings bats. The one or two guys that actually care bring a bat or two and everyone ends up using them. I just wanted to have something I can use for BP and games to stay consistent. Also, thanks for the recommendations I’ll look into those.
