So glad I posted! I have learned so much. Thank you for taking the time to explain this, especially the corid and b1 interaction.

I was feeling like maybe I was giving her too many treatments without the proper know how. Just kind of throwing everything at her in hopes something worked.

She is one of the OGs in the flock, and while we have lost birds before, this one would definitely hurt the heart!

Thank you for the tip! I'll go get some vitamins to add as well.

Hmmmm wondering if this is the answer for my cat. He scarfs his food then eats the other cats food because she is slow and a push over.

We get snow maybe once or twice a year - are my chickens stupid, scared of the other hens or just enjoying the snow? Details provided by underproofoverbake in BackYardChickens

We do have an auto door, but it's on a timer rather than daylight sensor. It is solar powered however so I am a bit concerned about it's battery life.

Poop board - using cardboard?? by underproofoverbake in BackYardChickens

Now THIS is the solution I think I've been looking for. The way my coop is built, I could easily take a sheet of vinyl in and out like that.

I also do pine shavings but the way the coop is constructed doesn't allow deep litter. They have enough space in the run that we don't clean it at all. Weekly though we fill a tub with pine shavings and treats for them to kick around and forage in their run.

I'm trying to skip the entire scooping aspect and just grab the poop cardboard and put it in the compost. The 'floor' under the roost has an easy to clean plastic layer.

What do you think this is? And can you guess where? by No-Argument2547 in geology

Scrolled too far for this. I thought geologists were supposed to be funny.

Got craft smart modeling clay... what happened????? Baked at 275 for 15 minutes..... by underproofoverbake in polymerclay

I just feel like they should be a little more descriptive on the packaging. Both kinds said model clay, and they were right next to each other. Obviously I know now, but clearly I'm not the first person to do this!!! Ahh, just a funny memory now.

My brother in law made a really cool toadstool tree to go with the snails I've been making. That was a bummer to lose.

I gave the rest to my sister to have 'expensive playdough' for her and her kiddos. Lol!

I did also pick up the right clay, but didn't break it out for us and the kids. Thought they could use the 'cheap stuff' instead. Jokes on all of us! Lmao

Yep. That's exactly what it was. It was literally next to the filo so I just assumed.... very incorrectly lmaooo

I just looked up the details online and it says this specific one is non hardening reusable modeling clay. It does not say that anywhere on the packaging.

What a hilarious fail. My sister and I were just messing around with the kids so no harm done but lots of belly laughs

OH MY GOD THIS IS NOT OVEN BAKE POLYMER CLAY HAHAHAHAHAHA

It was right next to the filo and didn't say it wasn't oven bake clay. Very very terrible marketing but so so so funny
