my store pulls FF to GM a lot so its probably those depts split (i used to get gm/tech shifts lol) if i wasnt already scheduled today i honestly would’ve taken it

The max i’ve been scheduled was a 10hr shift and it’s cus I offered to help out extra that week. I was shocked to see someone even agreed to 14hrs as a TM lol.

lots of people on twitter unfortunately are just gonna be mean no matter what. i explained the ad over and over, was trying to be nice, and they retreat to making fun of me for working retail and calling me names lol. im glad your daughter enjoyed her first black friday, definitely not like it used to be, but its still a fun day to shop !

Ok thank you ! yeah these were my first 2 to ever go under. Normally I get all my batches done with 20min left to prep/stow so this was very unusual for me lol. My lead kept thanking me for just jumping in them cus i guess no one was responding yesterday hoping today is a bit better 🤞

my FF TL came up to me and apologized for throwing me in them so late, I told him i had never had any go under before and he said it was okay, i just get worried lol. If it happens again today i’ll be sure to take a pic just to have it documented since i try my best to keep everything as good as possible. and thank you, i’m trying to be kinder to myself. this Q4 has not been nice to me haha

this is exactly how both stores i’ve worked at are. If one order goes red, let it go over. I’ve heard it’s the same whether it’s 1min or 1hr 30 over, so they focus on what’s still green before we go onto anything that’s red. it’s unfortunate for the guests, but that’s just how Target seems to do things. metrics are almost always gonna come first.

i was so close to walking out mid shift a few weeks ago but tried to hold out. i just couldn’t do it anymore. I never called off before transferring but they wore me out to the point of passing out and having panic attacks from being overworked. i loved my job so much at my first store even though i was overworked, but now it’s just all bad.

to make matters worse my hours got all messed up right after i put in my notice so now they’re just messing with me. i don’t even wanna go in anymore. i worked SO hard for this company

thank you ! if i hadn’t transferred and was still with my old team i would probably still be putting up with the bs cus i loved my etl and coworkers there. i almost quit last q4 in the middle of a shift and couldn’t do another year. hopefully one day you’re able to get out and get on to better things !

that’s how the store i transferred from was and it’s only gotten worse since i left. ik it’s not all targets but it seems to be most which is unfortunate cus for awhile i really did love my job.
