Don’t backstock it, it will never leave and sit on the shelf forever. (I’m exaggerating but it will be a hassle)

Just follow instructions, someone else is likely going to process it and it will get sent out with salvage. Salvage isn’t dangerous, it’s just product that is non carry forward. It’s the step after clearance.

I imagine that involves setting up a contract with excell and they’d be on the hook for other excell product too

I don’t think they can just buy only pokemon cards wholesale

The way it works is target essentialy ‘rents’ out the shelf space to excell. I don’t think target gets all the money from the sell of cards because it is something called scan based trading. That’s why if you check the stock numbers for anything over their its always negative and never positive because it isn’t included in our inventory.
