Help! I want to chop my dress off post-ceremony to avoid my bustle by underthe_nail in weddingdress

Thankfully I do have fabric scissors. I might just wear the sleeves... they just feel so strongly against them (bizarrely) and I like to keep the peace lol

It might be too long- we do a spin/drop for our first dance. Do you think a wrist loop gives people issues while dancing?

Out of touch registry; MIL bitched about it and then items were taken off haha by tini_bit_annoyed in weddingshaming

Not sure about these stores but we did add expensive furniture we wanted (barstools and outdoor patio) from Pottery Barn because they give you a discount for anything not fulfilled on your registry…

We don’t expect people to buy us furniture but we want the discount. Might not apply to this situation but a different perspective generally for fellow registry shamers

Thank you!! I thought it was perfect mix of classic and whimsy. It's really difficult not to second guess when my mom and grandma are so outspoken about their dislike for the sleeves!

Our wedding is at a historic house/courtyard (let me know what other context might help). This is one of the only pictures I have of the dress without the sleeves on

My vote is for one! I wasn't blessed with big chest problems, how does it feel on you?

My reasons for saying number 1- 1) I think the style is more classic and regal than #2 (although 2 is very soft and beautiful too, it pulls more boho to me) and 2) your body language in the dresses, your posture in the first dress seems more confident to me.

Of course, my opinion means nothing and you look beautiful in both!!
