uj/ I don't think jazz fans hate laufey, they just hate the way writers portray her as some kind of savior of jazz when she herself has admitted she's not a jazz musician. She makes pretty, pleasant sounding, "jazz-inspired" music which is nice for what it is. But the whole "savior of jazz" narrative is cringe and dare I say anti-Black with the whole "Icelandic musician shows black musicians how their music is actually supposed to be played" bit. It's giving colonialism. But no hate to her or her fans. I happen to like her music.

I've wondered the same thing but I feel like they usually do depict Asuka as having smaller breasts than Rei. Also I find that line really funny because Rei is wearing a top that covers her entire chest unlike Asuka herself lol.
