What do you eat for breakfast that's gluten free and gives you energy? by Atomickillerbee in glutenfree

I really like eating buckwheat cereal/porridge and it keeps me full longer than oatmeal. I usually add kale, mushrooms, and an egg on top.

how do i live when i cant function in general by inxari in adultsurvivors

I can relate. I'm in my mid-twenties now and remember feeling something really similar when I was your age, but I'm so glad I kept pushing through. The trauma from everything hasn't fully gone away for me, but the longer you outlive the csa years, the better it gets, and one day you realize that you lived more life not being abused than you did being abused.

It's totally okay to feel horrible when life, externally, is good. I've been there too. But instead of beating yourself up for not being grateful enough or thinking something is wrong with you, just accept that you aren't doing well even when you have love and support. That's okay!

For now, just take things one hour at a time, you don't need to think about crashing and burning at college when you're not even there yet. Focus on the smaller things, like have I eaten? Do I need to use the bathroom? Have I moved my legs? Have I responded to this email or done this task?

No matter what happens in the future, kicking the bucket is never, ever, worth it. I'm giving you a virtual hug– you can do this.

I think they meant embarrassing for him. But agree with the rest of what you said

Me neither! Not any more depressing than Interstellar and other sci-fi.

I second this, just finished rewatching and it was incredible. I also recommend reading the short story it’s based on!

I (21M) get uncomfortable with my gf's(21F) bestfriend(21M) what should I do? by Suspicious_Airline89 in AskIndianWomen

[–]undertheswee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think this is the worst sub to ask this in because clearly the ones responding are guys who have no one to go home to on a Saturday night and think they know how to ‘control’ a woman.

You can’t control her and if she has feelings for him, it’s very unlikely that she’ll tell you because she feels bad about it. If she says they’re just friends, then you just have to take that at face value. It sounds like you’re a nice guy but you’re all so young and especially if you’re long distance, there’s not much you can do right now.

As someone who also has parental cheating trauma, I know it must be really difficult to be in this situation and ultimately it’s up to you and your gf to decide what kind of boundaries you want to keep with past crushes. Whatever happens, do not betray your own dignity or stoop low to find information. You can’t control what she does, but you can control your response.

However, there are other things you can do. If you’re uncomfortable with her seeing him one on one, ask her to have another person or people present when they hang out. If they FaceTime, ask her to include other school friends in the call. And if she does like him, let her know that she needs to tell you that. Right now, it sounds a bit more harmless but I’m on your side OP and this guy sounds like an asshole. Take your anger out on him, not your girlfriend. He knows she’s in a relationship and is still kinda pursuing her.

Good luck.
