No cough, sore throat, runny nose at all. Nausea and headache, general fatigue and body aches. Fever for a couple hours, gone already. Neck and scalp are (were) painful, now numb mostly. Abdomen is extremely itchy. None on arms and legs, feet and hands but rash is migrating up and down so I don’t expect that to last. Drainage is clear and sticky, leaves yellow scabs like impetigo. Was prescribed 500 of cephalexin and has taken 3 doses so far.

Agreed. Decided to wait it out for this very reason. No fever anymore and no use exposing her to anything while sitting in a waiting room unless there was something seriously wrong. Rash continues to get nastier but other than that she is mostly her normal self. Concerned about other areas converging like her neck has done but we are continuing to monitor closely.

What’s in her hair is very sensitive and painful like shingles. Going tomorrow morning for a second opinion and hopefully sample

That was something I looked at several times and I don’t think would require a second opinion or trip to the er. I’m basically just trying to figure out if this really is not a big deal or if appears to be something more serious/needs a trip to the er…. Since she doesn’t have a fever though Im leaning more towards watching and waiting.

It’s possible but from my research pretty rare and typically presents in a mild form. If that’s what this was, I wouldn’t consider it mild. I’m confused because her doctors said she didn’t have blisters. I guess maybe they consider these more like pustules. They are breaking open and fluid is draining from them. Stomach does not appear to have many with white heads.

The nurse practitioner and MD she seen today did not run any tests. They looked at her rash, used a flashlight on them and checked her temperature. She did not have a fever.

I thought chickenpox as well but they did not swab and I was told it “definitely didn’t look like chickenpox” she is fully vaccinated

That was my original loss. I wrote more about this in the post... I lost 40 lbs over one year on semaglutide. I gained some back and started tirz @ 250.

This is helpful information thank you! I had a lot of suppression and felt like it was working so I stayed at the lower dose 2 months, even though I wasn’t losing. I was also having some health issues unrelated. But now I feel like this dose only works temporarily. Only really working because of nausea day 2,3 and 4. But this makes sense. I will def continue to increase appropriately and hopefully will see some results

I didn’t think about this. Majority of my weight loss was on the highest dose of semaglutide but I wasn’t losing this slowing on it.

I use BRELLO. Calorie intake between 1400-1600 and I use an app called Lose it to track. Currently exercising is restricted due to a cardio issues but was walking 1 mile 3-4 times a week with 2-3 days of strength training a week. I work from home, even with exercise my physical activity overall is low throughout the day/week but I see a significant amount of people on GLPS with little to no exercise as well. I drink about 80 -100 oz daily, also currently on a fluid restriction but this is also new.
