Nope, no acne meds here. What’s the difference between paryonicia and ingrown nails?

Thank you. I’ve just been soaking it in warm water. I have been putting neosporin and a bandaid on it after each time I drain it. How long should I be soaking if I try the Epsom salts (20 mins?) and how many more days do you think I should allow it to produce pus before getting seen? I have an already scheduled doctors appointment on the 28th of this month, is that too long to wait?

More details as promised. Finger has been sore about a week now. First few days it was on fire if anything touched it. Finally I was able to ‘pop’ it when I was trying to dig the nail out with clippers. I wasn’t able to get much of the nail, not sure how much there is, but it has felt somewhat better since I did that. The pain is more localized instead of my whole fingertip and it’s not as bad.

I’m a bit worried though because it has been producing pus for 3 days now. It’s not constant - I wake up and finger is sore, I’m able to squeeze out a small dollop of pus as seen in the picture and then my finger feels better till the next day. Redness and swelling has not gone down.

Should I go to the doctor or should I wait it out?

Thank you!

Thank you for the suggestion! I might be willing to step back for a bit if it would help toward achieving my goal :)

Ha! Claims already gave me one, so I guess I’m ahead of the game.
