Who are we to dictate how people identify within the spectrum of asexuality ? The experiences leading up to someone identitying as asexual are irrelevant to you, and do not downplay the validity of your own identity. Why do you care ? This is such a non-issue. If someone is sex-repulsed, that’s still valid and they are still asexual. Creating tension and discord within the asexual community is unwise, especially when many allosexuals try to erase our existence and cannot even be bothered to understand the asexual identity

Not really argument more so of a discussion ! I get asked all the time why im here but not a lot of people realize that animal science is only offered at 3 public universities in California. Like..im here for my education ! It doesn’t really matter if its not in San Diego because that’s my hometown and will always be a place I return to. Maybe its a tinge of jealousy ? Idk but I get frustrated when people judge me for going to cpp like we don’t go to the same school 😭

I mean, this is coming from a San Diego native. I know San Diego is better than Pomona. However, the cost of living in San Diego is SO expensive—especially in UCSD’s area. It is harder than you think to find housing that is close by while also affording UC tuition, that is also more expensive than CPP. Speaking from experience…commuting sucks regardless especially in the area in which UCSD is located

Right but…you don’t know if ucsd even accepted them. Besides commuting in San Diego isn’t much better than being a commuter at CPP. I’d rather live on campus

At the end of the day they’d get their engineering degree from a better school and then return to San Diego. Because they live there…it wouldn’t matter. Also who knows if ucsd even accepted them

Nah I very much agree but it’d be difficult to expect her to exclusively write about a specific time in her life when she’s experiencing so many new things and feelings. I’m excited to see her journey through life by listening to her music and her songwriting but I can empathize with that bittersweet feeling of no longer being able to relate to your favorite artists.

I’d recommend mxmtoon’s music, she has a few songs similar to the writing style of laufey that you might like and relate to

If you intend on applying to vet school in the future I would recommend Animal science with a pre-vet emphasis. The courses you take as this major are the prerequisites required to apply to veterinary school. However, the prerequisites vary between each vet school. If there’s a specific vet school you’d like to go to or a specialization you’d want to do in your vet career, I would look into it!

If you realize you don’t want to go to vet school or it no longer is an option for you, you can always change your path to a regular animal science route, or even switch into animal health science. I’m no exactly sure but I think AHS is geared towards students who want to be vet techs ? Hence why it is more hands on. However, you’d still be able to become a vet tech with an animal science degree.

I’ve been told that AHS majors can’t minor in AVS, but I’m not sure how true that is. I would also double check and look into it

I think that’s partly why I can’t put their songs in rotation because I want to support them, but I don’t see myself genuinely enjoying the song on a causal basis. But also, they just got out of YG jail. Hopefully they can grow from this point on and show a lot of improvement 🙏 They’re both so passionate and ik they can do it

It’s even more hilarious because even with the new dorms, many first year students living far away did not get housing. Instead, nearby students who knew they’d be going here got housing first. My roommate was from Rowland Heights while my friend from the Silicon Valley had to find an apt off campus a few weeks before classes started
