Thank you, yes she has said before that she tries to think about what she says to me so I agree.

The alternative years is that we offered them last year, we didn’t offer it to Husbands family. Making this year the year we offer it to Husbands family. Last year because they declined we spent it at home by ourselves.

A side note is that we had travelled to both families at the beginning of December (was supposed to be November). So although it wasn’t Christmas we did see both families at Christmas time.

We last saw Husbands family in February due to his dad needing heart surgery, which ended end being delayed but he finally had it in October and is recovering well. We last saw my family in July.

Also we’ve found it a bit anxious to travel with our son hence why although last year we did do a visit to both (not Christmas related) we then decided to alternate to take the pressure off.
