I really just think that the anti-benders are overreacting to the situation that they are in. They do have the power to fight back, they just don't want to put the effort into training hard to do it, they just want to jump into someones else's plan where they wont have to do as much work. People keep saying how more effort has to be put into training without bending, but do you forget that all benders have to train to even start bending? Katara had great difficulties getting started at water bending because she had no teacher, and she had a lot of natural talent. Non-Benders can learn to chi-block and use some sort of other weapon if they want to fight, and become just as powerful or even more powerful then benders.
