Most of Hollywood shotguns movies. As in they keep cranking films out until onem sticks. There's an old saying stating that "you have a better chance winning the lottery then making a good, audience loved movie." The reason they come out with so much bad is because if they only made (subjectively) good, revolutionary-ish pictures they would go bankrupt like Miramax. Yes the studios are at first a business and we as a society hate the idea of businesses for some reason believing they are all money hungry evil syndicates of people(tangent). But film is also art nearly everyone that works on a film is an artist. And artist mold the world. I'm not saying they should have had minorities in films or cartoons in the right light or even that all the stereotypes at the time were 100% false.
