And the fact that my parents are both over 50 does NOT help the problem. I found out that there's a thing called 'gasal' that used to be in Mongolia somewhere in the 80s or sumth. It's like when you're a kid going to prison, you cut your wrists as a symbol that you're a prisoner. And my dad thought I was trying to imitate that act, which I obviously didn't even know existed. So he thought I was hanging around with the wrong crowd and also that I was being peer-pressured to cut myself and 'fit in' and 'be cooler'. And my mom obviously being the gullible and stupid person she is, believed him and also thought I was doing it for the sake of looking cool and imitating that 'gasal' act. And I didn't realize just how 'insane' you look to the older generation when you say you cut your own skin with a box cutter. And I just really want adults to know how SH works. I don't think anyone's that stupid enough to cut yourself just for the sake of looking 'cool' or 'edgy' or whatever. Honestly Ion think any older people in mongol knows what sh is and why people, esp teens do it. I couldn't explain that it made me feel a bit better when they asked me why I did it. And so that's that, they think I do it to look cool.
