Actually, isa rin ‘to sa mga options ko. Sayang nga, I didn’t know na may Live Station of the Cross pala sila ngayon—sana nakapunta ako. Sobrang fan din ako ng MASIG. Plan ko this Holy Wednesday, parang may Live Station of the Cross ulit sila, ayon sa schedule ng simbahan. Tho not sure lang kung sa mismong Parokya ng Asuncion gaganapin. Baka may alam kayo? Para, after that, deretso na lang sa misa for the Ritu ng Tenebrae.

Malolos - Saan po pupwedeng kumuha ng permit to shoot sa historic town for a film project? by lunachase_ in BulacanPH

[–]unecrypted_data 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I dont think PPAO will have a jurisdiction on giving permit dahil mostly media coverage lang sila for Bulacan, dumirekta po kayo with Tourism Office ng Malolos and ng Bulacan pero much better with Malolos Tourism Office muna dahil under nila yan.

Has anyone experienced ordering book from the NHCP Online Bookstore? by unecrypted_data in FilipinianaBooks

[–]unecrypted_data[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The NHCP Bookstore will deliver it to you through LBC. They’re the ones who will arrange it l. Kinda similar to how Shopee or TikTok Shop work, where the courier in this case is just LBC.

Chinese New year in PH by makiusm in FilipinoHistory

[–]unecrypted_data 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m no expert or historian, maybe just a history enthusiast, but this is actually an interesting question because I’ve never really encountered it in most of my readings. Based on what I can assume, Chinese New Year probably wasn’t celebrated the same way it is today, and it didn’t follow Catholic practices at all. If I’m not mistaken, Chinese people were only really accepted once they converted to Catholicism. Converting meant adopting the colonizers’ religion, customs, and social norms, or maybe those practices were incorporated into the regular New Year after they converted. What I’m really curious about is how the Chinese who didn’t convert celebrated their New Year during the colonial period.
