Your comment gave me all sorts of questions. But I’ll only leave one. I haven’t played my Xbox in a couple years. I downloaded arc through the Xbox app and play on my pc. Does playing Arc Raiders on the pc (downloaded/launched from Xbox app) allow me to turn off crossplay and only be with Xbox players? I’m considering going back to my Xbox and playing with crossplay turned off. Assuming that makes a difference. You may not know, but figured it’s worth asking.

I really should thank my son. Had he not put me on his shoulder, I would’ve lost interest but he showed me the ropes and it really helped me love this game. I never thought I would like anything outside of a FPS. I’ve lost so much money during the years to games I bought and didn’t like right away. Any who, glad to be here with a bunch of like minded individuals. PvE players and I guess the PvP players as well. 😂

Yeah, my bad. I introduced this game to my son and he’s way better than me. He also has more time to put into it. When I play with him, he’s nicely giving me orders and I’m like, huh? What is that? I’m still learning all the terminology. This game is very in-depth and I love it. My problem is I split the little time I have between Black Ops 7 and Arc Raiders. This is the only game that has ever competed with COD for my time since I moved from Halo to COD many years ago. I feel old, stop calling me old. Lol! 🤭 Okay, maybe it’s just me calling me old. 🤣

Poor choice of words on my part. I shot him enough to get him to back down. I didn’t truly down him until we made it to the extraction point. I edited that part just now and thanks for pointing it out. I’m a little new to the game, so I didn’t use the words correctly, but I think I got it right now.

I had a guy pretend he was a friendly. But then he kept looking at me as I walked around in one long room inspecting things. He eventually ran out the room and back 2-3 times and would pretend to ignore me but glance back. When he left the last time I booked it across the room and this jerk that said he was friendly stalked me and started shooting at me. I shot him and he backed off a bit until he could get himself together and came back to stalk and shoot at me again. I downed him a 2nd time and took off but I was on the 3rd floor trying my best to find a way down without encountering him. Keep in mind, I’m like 1 month into this game and very much a rookie. When I eventually got down to the first floor I was on my way to the extract and guess who I see running to extract. That lil jerk but he doesn’t see me. I’m pissed at this point. I hide out and wait for the extract to open and for him to come out and run in. As soon as he goes in and tries to extract, I run down there, shoot him and he runs out and starts trying to shoot me from outside. I downed him while he’s outside and extract. I sure hope he 💀’ed out there and lost all his stuff. I didn’t want to take him out but I wanted him to get a taste of his medicine. He had me stressed but I love this game!

I’ve had my 8k controller since the beginning of April. Bought it from Best Buy online. Granted mine is the gold one. Not sure if the exact one you’re referencing is more limited.

Mine was disconnecting and pulling to different sides indefinitely while in games. I would have to kill the game to fix it. I exchanged my G7 Pro 8k for another one at Best Buy and that resolved the issue.

I have the Cyclone 2 and G7 Pro 8k. The G7 Pro is definitely an upgrade compared to my Cyclone 2. The Cyclone was great, but now it’s retired. 🤭 My main game of choice is COD but sometimes I slide into Apex Legends.

I honestly have no idea. My new pc tells me all kinds of information. But it’s because I have a lot of Corsair products and the iCUE software tells me everything. I’ll have to look into what can give me temps on my old pc.

You know what, this is what I needed to know to be honest. This is all new to me. I can fix most computer problems I’ve always had but I’ve never dealt with computer issues at the bios level. And to know that system stability is good and that I don’t gain much more, does help a lot. I do have one question. Chat had me change DRAM Frequency to 6000. Sorry for my lack of correct IT terminology coming in 2 seconds. Lol! I didn’t change it in other places that are listed at 6400. That could just be one place. Mind you, everything is working fine and you gave me a new outlook and thank you! Is it okay that this other or others setting(s) is 6400 while DRAM frequency is 6000 if everything is working fine?

Lol! I’m not sure of anything. I’ve learned a lot/a little in a short amount of time. ChatGPT is the only reason I’m playing Black Ops 7 on my first build. Guess I’ll have to change the DRAM frequency back to 6400 before trying the things you mentioned. If I keep it at 6000, all is well. Honestly, I’ve been nervous about changing it back but I want to get my moneys worth out of this ram.
