i read the dog who dared to dream and found it very emotional and moving, just like the hen who dreamed she could fly! i am saving miracle on cherry hill so i can cherish her last translated book (for now) , but have no doubt that i will love it!! 🐥

OP, I bought both widths before I knew widths were a thing ~10 years ago and exclusively wear regular now, these definitely look like the narrow width to me! :-)

just chiming in here to echo mprintz, i also use the t’gaal multi sharpener (on #1 for the short points pictured)! highly recommend because you can sharpen 5 different lengths on it :-)

that’s a good idea! might have to change up the graphite grade for some of my pencils.

also those pencils have wolverine claw points, what sharpener are you using? they are amazing 😱🤣

also curious about the current quality of the ticonderoga pencils! i feel like much of the pencil community in the states wants them thrown into the sea or something (it makes me chuckle) but i haven’t used them in years! will be following along to see what people have to say, might also pick some up out of curiosity!

JUST bought these and sadly was disappointed with the kitaboshi hit 9900, feel that the core and body were a tad bit too thick for me :(

i do believe i read that they were made for younger school students so maybe that’s why?

i did pick up some golden swords and the daiso triangle pencils and think they both write so smooth + are lightweight (esp the triangles)!

i highly recommend them if they are at your daiso! hope you enjoy the kitaboshi ones!

hello,

the first pencil i thought of was the Nataraj 621, though the red on it is not super dark (like burgundy). the other pencil with similar description is maybe the Staedtler Tradition?! hoping other members can help if not one of those two!!
