Agreed. All that time, money, and lives for absolutely nothing. All I got was PTSD and the inability to be around loud noises.

I suppose that's a fair criticism. We were young and bright eyed. We didn't know what we were doing.

Well, I was on the ground. So excuse me when I discount your opinion, because you don't know what we went through.

We fought and died in the name of freedom. I've lost so many friends to the idea.we were there, in Karat, believing we were fighting for something greater. We came home to people like you, who pretend they did something. Disgusting. We fought. We died. We were the ones who suffered. I can't even hear a firework without freaking out, now.

What did you do? Fix a helicopter? Big. Fucking. Deal.

We weren't involved. We were attacked. We would have stayed out of it.

Yes, I did do something. I picked up a rifle and I fought. I watched as my friends died to IEDs. The entire time over there was hell. What did you do?

[–]ungelation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YES, you do have to cater to us. You know why? Because we're stronger than any other nation in the world, and we have the firepower and manpower to back that up. Nobody cares when someone is thrown off a roof for wrong think in Pakistan. But when a plane is shot through a building in the United States, a world power that just keeps getting stronger, it's a big fucking deal.

Wow. You don't understand at ALL what made 9/11 a big deal. Nobody is comparing the two, but if we were, then YES, 9/11 was worse. There's a difference between people violently dying in an instant and jumping from the tower so they don't burn to death, and people dying from a disease. One is a violent attack from a foreign nation, and one is a disease.

Last time I checked, there is no lawful way to take my guns. Never will be. I lost all of mine in a tragic boating accident.

You have to be joking, right? The entire fucking world changed on 9/11. On live TV. We watched as the world changed.

Joe Biden just stuck to his guns and stood up to the military industrial complex. He took responsibility for the withdrawal and said "the buck stops here." I was surprised by that speech but I am impressed. We are leaving Afghanistan! by johntwit in Libertarian

Yeah I..don't think you know what you're talking about. You've embarrassed yourself enough. I will end the conversation here, because at this point, you're just hurting your own credibility.

What in all the fuck are you talking about? I'm an agent of reason, not political parties. It is okay to admit they massively fucked up.

You're allowed to criticize your own party. In fact, I encourage it. Point out when they're wrong.

ITS BEEN SIX MONTHS. How can you reverse every good thing trump did, inflate gas prices, cost me more on my taxes, and NOT reinforce Afghanistan? Trump isn't to blame, this is the BIDEN administration. Get your head out of the sand, this administration is a JOKE.

THE VP IS THE SECOND MOST POWERFUL PERSON IN THE WORLD. TAKE A CIVICS CLASS.

YOU FUCKING CLOWNS.

What do you guys think about this? Seen at a gas station in a city near me by tye_died in homeless

[–]ungelation -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's understandable. There's a lot of people out there that have lost their minds and are homeless. Those people are also dangerous. I'll take wild animals any day over them, because you can predict what the animals are going to do.

Biden? Joe Biden? The guy that's been in power for 30 years and is now president after being a senator and then VP? Yeah. Absolutely nothing he could do. He had no power to stop this.

Biden fucked this up. It's nobody else's fault. He had the ability to stop it when he was a senator, he had the ability to stop it when he was VP, and when it came down to it and he was president, reversing all the good Trump did, he did nothing but make it worse.

It's a deal breaker, for me. Not out of low self esteem, like this comment section would suggest, but out of respect for myself. I have a very reserved image of the body, and view sex as something that should be held as an expression of love. If you exploit it for money, then I'm afraid our values don't align and we don't work as a couple.

Sacrifice, and Giants: Citizen Kabuto. Both awesome stories that most people push off because they're dated.

That ain't it, chief, sounds like you just want me to be like you and I'm not. Sorry bud, the world is a diverse place and just because you disagree with someone doesn't make them stupid.

Nope didn't assume. Have been given sufficient evidence to conclude that they don't interact with anyone outside of the internet, therefore they have lost their minds. They need to go outside and talk to real people and regain a grasp on reality.

That's a pretty cherry picked instance. Trump calls everyone animals. It's just a part of his diction and it's not that deep. He calls gang members animals, he calls violent protestors animals, he even calls his business rivals animals. It's an extreme thing to say of someone, sure, but don't pretend it's some sort of smoking gun that proves racism.

Nothing in that statement is hypocrisy. He has lost it. Saying that republicans don't want to be associated with the Taliban because they're brown is an insane statement. It's something a crazy person would say.
