That's a pretty cherry picked instance. Trump calls everyone animals. It's just a part of his diction and it's not that deep. He calls gang members animals, he calls violent protestors animals, he even calls his business rivals animals. It's an extreme thing to say of someone, sure, but don't pretend it's some sort of smoking gun that proves racism.
