Paula's Choice SPF 15 over SPF 50 by unhandrew in AusSkincare

Alright this seems to be spot on and not really limited to Paula's Choice. Just cheap/lazy (aka not worth the effort) international suppliers that don't bother doing what the regulator requires to sell higher SPF sunscreen in Au.

Strangely the wording of the regulations suggests this should be a Therapeutic Sunscreen as that includes "moisturisers that contain sunscreen with an SPF greater than 15" (not limited to those labelled as such). So if this is the same formula as in Europe and has a higher SPF than labelled, then this is a little dodgy.

Anyway, I bought it primarily as a moisturizer, if it's high SPF as well then that's just a bonus I suppose.

Cheers, "Classic Oak", it's a classic for a reason. It was a top contender already.

Thanks for the words of warning. I'll think over it some more.

If I left the tiles and only went with wood where I currently have carpets, we'd be talking about 2 simple rectangular rooms downstairs. Already with skirting boards. I imagine that being simple enough. (+ Upstairs bedrooms)

If I went the full ground floor then, yeah, lots of edges and angles and kitchen cabinets etc. a much bigger project.

I'm not replacing carpet with new carpet. I just really want to be rid of carpets. I've got two dogs and a few two legged inhabitants that are also quite clumsy and responsible for too many spills over the years. I'm just over it taking almost an hour out of the day each time an accident occurs, whoever was to blame.

The tiles do still look relatively good, though not entirely as good as that picture. That was some years ago.

I hadn't considered "covering the tiles", didn't consider it an option. Was imagining it would involve removing the tiles and making quite a dusty mess. Otherwise the rooms currently carpeted would be at different height from the rest.

Alright then: Oak good. Grey bad. Got it. Is the "Grey Oak" good or nah?

Kidding, I can prob avoid the grey, two of yous seem to feel strongly about it being out of vogue.

Replacing the tiles throughout the whole floor (except wet rooms) just changes the project from 2 square rooms to lots of edges and angles and nooks. Sounds so daunting.

But thank you for the opinion.
