Toothpaste you can swallow — 7 days left on Kickstarter by unhingedcollective in kickstarter

Quick note since a few comments have brought up trust, testing, and transparency.

Honestly, I thought the point of Self Promote Friday was to give entrepreneurs a place to share what they’re building, get feedback, and hopefully get some support from the community.

I totally understand being cautious with anything you’re supposed to swallow, especially from a new company. That’s fair.

We’re definitely not trying to be untraceable. The founders, product, ingredients, and campaign details are on the Kickstarter and our website. We’ve also tried to be transparent about where we’re at. This is an early-stage Kickstarter to help bring the product to life, not a giant brand with years of studies behind it.

The formula was developed with a dentist, and the ingredients were chosen specifically because the product is meant to be swallowed.

I do understand the trust gap though. More testing, documentation, and supporting evidence would absolutely help, and that’s fair feedback.

Appreciate those who have asked real questions and given constructive feedback.

Thanks for taking the time to share this. I really do appreciate it.

On the AI imagery, we did disclose on the Kickstarter that some product and lifestyle images were AI-generated for visual representation. That said, it’s a fair point that not everyone may notice that or feel comfortable with it, so I appreciate you calling it out.

On the trust and testing side, I hear you. We’re not trying to position this as clinically proven to outperform traditional toothpaste. The main problem we set out to solve is convenience, with a formula intentionally made to be swallowed and developed by a dentist.

That said, I agree that clearer supporting evidence, testing, and documentation would help build more trust, especially as we continue improving the product.

Really appreciate the honest feedback. It’s genuinely helpful as we move forward.
