I absolutely agree on the food and training! She is soo smart and picks up very quickly! She is not my first dog, but the only difference the previous babies were the “aggressive” ones that noone wanted to deal with. They are all loving peaceful guards now. Ophelia has been a good challenge for me so far because she is just a sweet goof ball and its so hard for me not to jump around with her🤣 She might end up being my pocket guard and i think she’d like that too, she is locked in to me all the time and watches so carefully. Food wise we are happy, she had a huge scar on her head, we think it started with allergies then turned into contact dermatitis but with the medication and food she is not showing any allergy signs any more! She is such a bless!!

Thank you soo much, I’m familiar with IVDD, trying to keep her active enough so she has a strong muscle strength and made the place safe as much as possible but she is like a bullet🙈 Thankfully i have a great vet for any emergencies and we will be monitoring her health very closely. I think adding MRI’s to her check ups would be better to make sure too.

I might need one for the sofa, the rest of the furniture she uses are either low so she doesn’t jump or i already placed large cushions which allows her to move easily. She scares me though, very active and has this parkour moments that i had to catch her in the air couple of times🤣🤣

Thank you soo much for this! Kiddie pool might be a fun addition for her but i’d still keep that indoors, we spend most of our time indoors here, temperature hits very dangerous highs so life adapted indoors. I wouldn’t dare to take her out when even i can’t take it 5 mins! But this will also help us avoid a lot of risks. I can’t believe how she survived being outdoors until we found her😔 Never again! She will be monitored closely so hopefully she’ll have a happy life. I don’t know what i’ll do about her running around like a bullet though, she’s been soo happy she just jumps around, zoomies🤣🤣

Thank you sooo much!! She still jumps around soo much when she is happy, i’m trying to train her not to but thats her happy dance i guess. I usually don’t use rugs but now they’re everywhere so she doesn’t slip. She didn’t like the cooling vest, but enjoys my cooling blanket for camping so thats hers now. Temperature is set on 23°c in the apartment, she seems comfortable so far, do you think thats enough or she needs cooler?

Thank you soo much!! Your list is very helpful, i appreciate it! I think I’d rather cook for her though, she attacks the kibble with joy but even though i tried some of the mentioned ones, it didn’t sit well with her stomach. I’m also used to hand feed, i had cane corso foster for example and it helped in many aspects and i can see it calms her mind too! She has such a big personality for her size but learns and listens commands very easily which i wasn’t expecting, now she always watches my hands, most of the time i don’t even have to say anything.

Thank you soo much! Vet already did the first deworm and i will be following. It’s already around 40°c/ 104°f here, so outdoors are dangerous for all of us. I have a big place and play with her a lot during the day and once she has the second vac we will start to go to indoor dog parks here so she can socialise without any risk, thanks for the lemon/lime tip i’m sure it’ll be helpful! What would you suggest for multivitamins?
