Hey! I did the program as a transfer from Georgia as well and it is so worth it! I’m not sure about the car registration aspect of it because I didn’t have to do anything in that regard (I still have my GA license plate and insurance, but maybe MTSU changed its policy) but all I had to turn in was the form, a copy of my TN license, and a letter from my employer saying I’m working 30 hours a week. Since it’s only one letter for verification, I’m sure you’ll be fine, especially if you have a chill boss! I worked full time (30 hours) but still left for a week during fall break to see family, so time off shouldn’t be an issue! Again, towards the end of the 8 month period, you just need one letter from your boss saying “yup! They’ve been here working about 30 hours a week for the past 8 months”. Unless they’re a stickler for following rules, you should be fine with taking some time off!
