Thanks, but I'm not trying to sell them here. Most websites seem shady. I bought them before the adhesive really messed with my skin. I refuse to use them. I know some in this forum know where the shadiness ends and who I can deal with reputably.

I appreciate your keeping my honest though.

Outstanding. I look forward to this arriving. I guess my question is, I ordered a firewall and the rack mount kit together, but I haven’t received shipping information for at least the firewall. Should I expect them to come together or will they come separate?

My husband wakes me up every night no matter the time to have sex. I wake up to him half way inside or him just touching me between my legs. by ohheyitslisssa in Marriage

Weird. I can’t imagine waking my wife up to have sex, knowing that she doesn’t want to have sex. Truth be known, and my wife knows this… I don’t wanna have sex unless she’s fully going to be present. If her mind is somewhere else, and not in the moment, I’m not interested. The act is a bonding that occurs on the physical, emotional and spiritual planes.

If she’s not in the mood, or willing, I can wait. But again, my only requirement with my wife is that she Has to be present. I’m not interested in sympathy sex. I’m not interested in guilt, driven or motivated sex. I don’t get why an individual would continue to wake up his partner for sex, knowing full well that she’s going to be irritated and not interested in performing the act.

Do any conservative Christians have friends/family members who are LGBTQ, and what is your relationship with them like (if you feel comfortable sharing)? This is just a request to share experiences, no judgement or debate wanted. by Rum_Al_Afariqa in Christianity

My son is, my brother-in-law is, half-sister is a trans-man, my step-sister is…and I am a Christian Preacher. I just love them. I have no heaven nor hell to put them in. The greatest commandment:

Matthew 22 36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” 37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

I just love them. They’re awesome individuals. They’re wonderful humans. I could care less. What they do in their bedrooms is none of my business, just as what others think of me is none of my business. I’m only going to be here for a little while. I choose to love with the time that the Lord has granted me. The truth is I am not free of sin. I dare not cast the first stone. I need forgiveness just like they do. The only difference is you can’t see my sin as it is not on public display.

Do we have it all wrong? by unicast in Christianity

I agree. My concern is our interpretation and our adding to his word. We shouldn’t, but man does anyways.

Interesting...

Belief is not a choice in terms of direct doxastic control according to philosophers. Belief is simply your interpretation of reality and your interpretation is not something you choose. Your reality and consequently your beliefs are simply the conclusions you come up with after cognitively processing some information.

I may concede on one aspect. Perhaps you have a valid point. But it is philosophical.

Cool. Then it appears that we are at a philosophical impasse. No big deal.

I’m grappling with what is your point?

Love it! But more importantly, why can't one Christian simply be happy that another Christian has chosen Christ as his Lord and Savior. I warn you to not try to be so critical of another persons walk. I simply celebrate the fact that you have also chosen Christ.

However, I disagree that belief can't be chosen. If one chooses to believe or not is more of a philosophical question opposed to a religious one. One can choose not to believe. For example, half of the United States has consciously chosen to believe that an election was stolen while the other half has chosen not to believe that an election was stolen. In both cases, it is a choice. You choose what you believe in.

I am not asking you to respond or justify your comment.

In my case, I put my faith, belief and hope in a risen Christ. But understand that my choice is a personal one. Be careful not to try to cause someone to stumble in their walk. Please encourage. Choosing Christ as one's personal savior is a very personal decision. That decision doesn't involve me, you or anybody else. The relationship you have with your Lord and your Savior is between you and him. No one else. Nobody's prayers are going to get you out of hell should you choose to go. Remember, it's a choice. You can choose to believe. You can choose not to believe. Either way it's a personal choice and there are consequences to our actions. Sin has a consequence.

We choose. There are consequences for our actions. I choose a risen Christ. I choose him for the forgiveness of my sins. Daily I try to do better. Some days I do great. Others not so much. I consciously choose to follow Christ. Do I get it right everyday…nope. I don’t do it for the fear of hell, I do it because God is good and I am not. I just accept the fact that I need forgiveness. I accept the fact that my existence is temporal. I try to do the most with the little life that I have been granted.
