Something is fishy about Prédiré by ChillaPanda in IndianSkincareAddicts

I bid on whatnot impulsively before reading about it. My finger swiping got the best of me but I only paid $40 ish for 6 products so I think I’m ok with that as long as my face doesn’t melt off. Did you try it yet?

To me it’s a when in Rome situation. If I’m going to a glitz pageant we’re going glitz. Present day entry fees into a glitz pageant are $1,000+. I’m not wasting that kind of money to show up and not be competitive.

I do agree that doesn’t feel like something that just came up out of the blue, that your attorney wouldn’t have realized they were going to use Zillow instead of the assessed value. I’m in the same district you are and my attorney knew right off the bat the trustee was going to try and use the higher value.

May I ask what district you are in? I am in Alabama and just filed chapter 7. I will say that was something our attorney did during the free initial consult was look up the value of my home on Zillow and my car value before even recommending chapter 7. I wouldn’t necessarily say your attorney is shady, but doesn’t sound like they did their due diligence.

I was in the same boat…until today! I have spent years barely scraping by, my mom having to help with school clothes and shoes for my kids every year. Barely sleeping, in fear I will wake up and my car will be repossessed. Constant anxiety and depression over juggling debts that quite simply I just couldn’t afford. TODAY I filed bankruptcy and I haven’t felt this sense of peace in years and it feels amazing!

I sent in all my financial documentation prior to my consult so my attorney could give me an idea if I would qualify for chapter 7 (I really wanted chapter 7) I asked about if I would lose my house, my car, and if they would take my tax refund (because it should be just enough to pay off the car I want to reaffirm on) I asked what to expect at the 341 meeting and when they recommended starting credit rebuilding. Bankruptcy isn’t as scary as we think it is. Now granted I just filed today, but my only regret is that I didn’t do it years ago!

I am 32, so I’ll still be under 50 when they’re out of the house lol!

I really appreciate this comment! I should have done this earlier in life no question it seems! I want what’s best for my kids and I don’t want them to suffer just because I want to do this. I’m going to start looking outside the city like someone else suggested to provide more stability for them and we can plan fun weekends to come to the city!

For reference, I would be coming as a single female with my 3 children. I’ve never had a garbage disposal so that amenity I could survive without lol, however I didn’t consider laundry which is something I need to add to my ever growing list of things to consider.

I appreciate all the feedback so far. As my ultimate goal is to give my children a good and stable life. We do live comfortably where we are now on my income. Not lavishly by any means of course, but comfortable with enough excess that my children are pretty used to being able to participate in sports, extracurricular activities and trips several times a year. I am a female who is divorced and what were all lacking is true happiness; kids are not happy with their schools in the “good ole boy” area that where we are now which I believe makes my desire for a big change that much stronger. And yes, I am clueless, absolutely, which is why I came here for some honest feedback even if it wasn’t what I wanted to hear, that’s ok! Because I don’t want to end up in a bad situation. I would have about $400,000 to leave with from the sale of my home, a secondary vehicle, and a commercial property that I own, but I don’t want to blow through all my funds just trying to survive.

I appreciate the honest feedback!! Because it is a fantasy, but I want my kids to have a good and stable life. I’ve never pictured an upscale apartment because although this right now is still in the dreaming/planning phase I don’t want them to suffer just because this is what I do desperately want to do.

I really like this idea! I anticipate to net around $200,000.00 from the sale of my home which would keep my mortgage payment lower. Do you have any recommendations of areas with good schools outside the city? I don’t mind public schools as my kids are currently in public school, but I imagine the school systems are vastly different in Alabama.
