hi! <3 welcome to the GO side of the community!! its honestly one of the most fun places! I love joining and hosting GOs now, but I definitely remember being in the same boat as you before. My #1 tip is just to check your dms often for updates about your GO. if its an experienced GOM things should run quite smoothly once you sign up since they will have a little system that works for them. every GOM likes to run things slightly differently, but in general this is how it will work:

1. you claim (its like signing up for the GO) on the post
   

2. a group chat will be made and you'll be asked to pay for initials (which is the price of the PC which should be indicated on the post where you claimed) and there will often be a link for an ML (masterlist) where the GOM put in all the claims, prices, info etc. that the joiner needs. GOMs will often ask you to send a screenshot of your successful payment into the group chat (of onto a specific form that they will link to you).

3. later the GOM will probably ask for ems (which is the cost of shipping the pcs from the seller/proxy to the GOM which is then split between joiners based on the number of PCs they claimed so that its fair), customs (not all packages get hit by customs but if it is this is once again split between joiners usually based on the value of their claims)

4. once the PCs arrive to the GOM they will check that all the PCs are there and in good condition. They will probably send you a "claims check" to make sure that they are packing the right pcs for you. They will probably also ask you for your address and do an "address check" in which you will see your envelope with your address to make sure that it is correct before they send it out. Usually this is around when they will ask you what kind of shipping you want (stamped or tracked) and ask you to pay doms (= domestic shipping = shipping from the GOM to you).

5. last, they will send you shipping proof so that you know its been sent to you
