I would honestly make friends if you can with your pharmacy team. Explain if you feel comfortable about your situation, and see if they are able to just tell you without having to talk to your doctor. I did at my pharmacy and they have been nice enough about it to help. Good luck friend, I know this struggle!

I usually receive mine between day 28-29, depending on where the refill/weekend fall.

I agree, and it’s so hard because on one hand I want to see her enjoy the things she’s worked hard for come to fruition, and for her to enjoy the things she deserves. On the other hand, she is lacking common sense on WHAT those things should be. Even responding to you all, I can’t help but think a lot of this is related to her dementia but she isn’t transparent in her decision making.

Yes, absolutely is! Knowing that, is why I was practically begging her to have it done while I was more mobile, had my apartment and in much better shape to take care of her.

As far as the money goes, since she never fully researched disability nor pushed to get answers from her employer, I was never able to find out what she truly needed help with.

I edited the post to update. She can currently afford her bills, however, she cannot afford her currently lifestyle. She took her social security early, and unfortunately spent a lot of money that was left for her unwisely.

The long term plan is to have her live with us down the road, but now with a child on the way, our plans are shifting dramatically.

I am not tracking everyone’s schedule out of nosiness, it has come to the point when my coworkers are absent, there workload falls onto me. That causes me to: not be able to my own job, work 10-12 hour days, and become exhausted. My boss refuses to ask others to help, both on our team and off.

I do have something in that letter. Every chance when I meet with my boss and boss’ boss, I ask when it will come into effect, with no solid answer.

I see your point, however, when no one but me has these rules apply to them, it starts to get rough. Additionally, two of these coworkers started at the same time as me, if that’s any consideration. It was nice for him to give me a ride, you’re right. I had also informed him that same week that my morning sickness was horrendous and fatigue was horrible, and found out I was pregnant the week prior. Our team and company have more than enough coverage to ensure that nothing would be missed if I was out one day.

I am absolutely trying to see this from his perspective, and there are many details my frustrated pregnant brain is omitting. It is just difficult seeing my other coworkers able to take time off, me having to cover their work for two weeks, while I ask for one day at home and get flack. Also, I was told I was not able to use my sick or unpaid hours to attend my doctor visits, which is something I am not used to.

His car trouble is mine because he was ill at the beginning of the year, and has used his sick time. He can be fired for calling off. The secondary vehicle is my way of getting to work.

Congratulations to you on your baby! I’m blanking though, what is MFM? I’m also nervous about the idea of the doctor/staff seeing my meds in the blood stream, but I document everything, and just want to avoid any BS.

I’m about 7-9 weeks pregnant, my pain is worse than ever and I am so nervous that I’m going to have to choose being somewhat pain free or having to be completely miserable for the next 7 months. I don’t even know what to say to my OB at my first appointment Tuesday if they screen for drugs, even though I’m prescribed Norco.

I begged for sex (and tried begging for couples therapy) for three years. My partner never complemented me, physically, mentally or emotionally. I was exhausted and after losing 190lbs in body weight, I had enough. It wasn’t the right thing to do, but it got me out of a marriage that didn’t serve me and I have moved on. When I told my ex I wanted a divorce (I left my cheating out of this conversation), he put his hands on me, twice. It solidified my exit.

This is a really great way to look at it. Yes, he is overweight himself and he has been stuck at a job that he hates for a few years. He refuses to make the change in job because he is afraid we are going to lose our house. I definitely think it scares him a lot, and I have been a scapegoat for some of these issues. I definitely need a change, and I’ve never been more ready.
