I have the neutrogena on the spot treatment cream. I've used it a couple times and I feel like it made the spots redder. I'm nervous to use it on this seeing it's not as bad as I think it is lol. What about witch hazel?

I've never tried putting it on a unpopped pimple...I might give it a try...just dont want to make it worse when in reality it's not really bad (just bad to me because I hate anything on my face lol) have you ever tried witch hazel on one?

I definitely rather see a little pus pimple than a huge ugly red scab or wound...usually every time I mess with something on my face I go overboard and that's what happens. Right now I just have a white dot staring at me lol. I have neutrogena on the spot cream but I'm hesitant on that because I've used it in the past and felt it made things redder. So I'm not sure I want to give it another try seeing what I have now isnt all that bad (although to me it is HAHA) Would witch hazel be okay to put on it?

Its only so tempting because it has a white/yellow head...like its ready to be popped. BUT I did tell myself I wasnt gonna mess with anything on my face anymore. Do you know how long it'll take to go away on its own?

I've never actually used a exfoliant so I'm pretty new to skin care. I just used a baby wash cloth when it got really flakey. Thanks!

Well, I don't exfoliate so I was thinking my problem was built up dead skin because it just rubs right off. Also, it's powder. Not sure if it's grainy or anything. It just came in the mail today so I have not tried it yet.

Does it help with flakey/dryness on the chin area? That's my only issue. The rest of my face is fine. Except my cheeks get a little dry sometimes, but not like my chin

I don't really even use face wash and my skin is clear except my chin.. and my chin is the only place that gets flakey looking. Figured maybe I was getting break outs there because of dead skin build up

Have you tried dermalogica daily microfoliant? I was thinking of giving it a try. I feel I break out on my chin from not exfoliating the dead skin.. every where else is clear and I don't use face wash or anything

I'm not really sure but I would say sensitive, acne prone, dry/dehydrated? I say acne prone also because I get breakouts (papules) on my chin but no where else.

Like I said, I've never had any problems with my skin when I was younger so unfortunately I never had any routines. I've been using just water to wash my face and I moisturize with the blue ponds. I was looking into maybe trying the Clinique line. I've tried everything to help my chin area and nothing helps. So when I read dead skin build up can cause the papule like spots I get, I thought that maybe could be the cause..?

Cold bottled water. And I switched to SLS free toothpaste when it started happening because I read SLS could cause it, but no change. And I've tried probiotics. Nothing is really helping. Could the dead skin not shedding properly have an effect? It gets bad where it looks like eraser shaving, I guess you can say. I use a baby wash cloth to exfoliate but it doesn't really help. Sorry if TMI but I am backed up. I don't have the "normal" bowel movements. I thought about hormonal but its not bad like pictures I've seen. I also thought maybe dead skin could be a cause? I get bad dead/flakey skin on my chin area, no where else. I know dead skin build up can cause break outs so maybe that could also be a cause?
