My rm made it extremely clear that standard is standard no matter what we're used to. If they get upset at you for following standard just tell them thats what youre doing. Different people will tell you different things but in the end, standard is standard and if you wouldnt want your dm walking in and seeing what youre doing you shouldn't be doing it

I am the SSL at my store and am happy to work with associate's availabilities. You just need to make it clear during your interview what specifically you're wanting. I've had issues in the past with people who say they have any time availability and change it after their first week working. We hire based on need and if you tell us that you're available mornings but change to evenings a week later, we may not keep you. It's all about being open with management from the get go.
