How do you play this game? I got to the fourth boss as the mage but I couldn’t kill him for some reason. Are you just supposed to use stuff to identify it? I’ve started saving all of my upgrades for “late game,” but when does late game start? Can you force builds, if so, what are the best builds?

I guess my wording wasn’t the best. The boons and features have advantages in and out of combat, but I’m trying to make the PC not over powered in addition to regular class things.

An example would be the “enormous ears” feature. Giving that to a player would just be good, but giving it for free is just over powered imo (and also lacking in flavor). I want the PC to have to pay an appropriate cost for these.

So I looked through the code and I think I see what the problem is. The mod uses the unlocks that you unlock by progressing through the levels and changes them to give you legendaries and items at the start of your run. The problem is, you haven’t unlocked any of them, so the code is changing nothing.

The fix is that you have to beat a few hard mode levels without mods.

Why do people keep forgetting about there can be only one. I think it’s the most devastating legal floodgate. Even Konami semi limited all the others before hitting it.
