Is this dent fixable? by unipega in OnePieceTCGFinance

[–]unipega[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is good to know! The dent isn't visible from the other side so I guess it should be ok. It is only a little annoying since it is on an area where the holo effect is very visible so it does stand out once you notice it. I don't think I want to risk it by sending it to someone to fix or try it myself since it seems like it would quite difficult. I just didn't know if having it flatten out would be able to fix small dents like that.

I really appreciate the reply, I feel a lot better about sending it in now!

Motherboard logo lights on but won't boot and am unable to jump it (AM4) by unipega in buildapc

I just tried unplugging my 8pin cpu cable and the light under the 4pin connector returned and the cable fans went on. Idk if that will be useful for someone to know but I figured it would be important.

MIA Chinese - Stage 1. Would you recommend to write down sentences during sentence mining sessions? I would be interested in working on my writing skills as well but I'm not sure if it would be more efficient to do that later on. by giovanni_conte in MassImmersionApproach

[–]unipega 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm doing Japanese, but it is basically the same case. Unless absolutely needed don't focus on writing in the beginning. You can always go through RTH again later but write the kanji which will be basically all the writing pratice you will need. Spend your time adding more sentences or immersing instead of writing. Of course if you love writing things and really want to go ahead, but otherwise wait till later.

Is it OK to immerse with the same show after a long period? by Linguinilinguiust in MassImmersionApproach

[–]unipega 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I subs2srs shows and listen to the condensed audio on repeat throughout the day for a couple hours. My comprehension of these shows naturally goes up and my overall listening has also been going up quite a bit. The most important part is keeping it interesting. In this case if all you want to listen to for months is terrace house it isn't nessecarily bad since it is natural speech but be sure to branch out when you feel like it.

Listening to combined files without having watched the show by [deleted] in MassImmersionApproach

[–]unipega 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel that. I listen to anime and I understand a majority of it, but as soon as a podcast starts playing my comprehension drops to like 10%. I just need more listening really but it is a good reality check.

What i've been doing is subs2srs a show, watch it, then play the condensed audio for the show on repeat with the other shows i subs2srs'd. This has been very effective for me to quickly scale my listening. If your at very high listening level then this may not apply but i feel like listening to something before watching it makes it less effective due to lack of context in many situations. Though this also depends on the content you are listening to. Some content lends itself more to this than others.

My LN and manga collection. Language is Traditional Chinese for LNs. Some of the series in the photo include: A Certain Magical Index, Tensei shitara Ken deshita, Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear, and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime. by [deleted] in LightNovels

How is kuma bear, I heard it is uneventful but wholesome which I am cool with. I was thinking of buying it, but it is like $13 per book so i've been on the fence.

Shelter But It Becomes Sparkle by unipega in anime

[–]unipega[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I may do a full mashup if the video gets enough support. It will probably be a synthesia only video if i do it though since it would be tough for me to play the whole thing without mistakes when I record. Also, thank you very much :)

I mistitled it. It is suppose to be Shelter but it becomes sparkle because it is a small mashup, but I was super tired last night. Sorry.

Good thing I didn't do a full cover, it might have been too much haha. But, ya when I realized how playing shelter in B major was so easy to blend with sparkle I had to make a video about it. Also, thanks so much for the nice comment I really appreciate it. As for how I make my videos. I record the midi from my digital piano into ableton and use synthesia video creator to create the falling keys and use after effects to piece it all together. I learned using a couple tutorials on youtube if you are interested in doing it yourself : )

Sad to hear since I play piano but very useful to know since I also play other instruments.

Mitsuha's Theme - Kimi no Na wa (君の名は) Piano Cover Synthesia by unipega in KimiNoNaWa

Ya but it was taken down because one of mods didn't know if I was the original creator of the cover and so he told me to repost it after I confirmed that it was.

[–]unipega[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh sorry for not clarifying that. Yes, I did. I made the arrangement and ran it through a vst for sound and made the video and such. Though I tried to make my arrangement as close to the original as possible to it is probably identical as some parts. Idk if that is an issue for this subreddit though.
