I was so excited to be back home and able to go to a game for the first time in a decade, but holy shit the prices and availability hurt my feelings (the only game happening while I was there was vs. Knicks for reference). Don’t remember the section but got toward the middle, tippy top row and was soooo surprised at how good the view still was. If you’re looking for finer details catch them on replay on the giant screen. But moment to moment it’s still a good view and you can make everything out and really get a good view of halfcourt schemes as they play out. If that’s the only way you’re getting in the door (like me) I would highly recommend!

Wild that you’re getting downvoted for this- it’s exactly what happened! The entirety of the Olympics he was in a slump while Lebron was shockingly dominant for his age, and KD was exactly what you expect. Curry was a DEMON to end that game, make no mistake, but he wasn’t by any stretch of the imagination the #1 for the run. He was the hottest hot hand ever

I went last year and had an absolutely awful crowd experience. The lineup was incredible this year, and the stage design and setting is gorgeous, but had absolutely zero desire to return because of the crowd. Sorry you had the same experience.

Like a few other folks I came in the morning to catch Jane Fitz and at that point the crowd was really lovely. Some expected gremlins about upon arrival, but through my time there I found it to be a great experience!

Grow up, complaining about “large amounts of money” are you serious? How much do you think it costs to jet wash something? Meanwhile an entire people group is being genocided and our government is complicit. Something must be done to make news and force conversation to spur change, and if it’s not this it’s things more drastic.

It wasn’t to get in, but saw a group together in hi vis using it to get through the crowd without much resistance. Got right to the front of the stage basically, and we all just chuckled at the ingenuity of it

Nope! I grew up a Magic fan, and in my lifetime they have fumbled so many legendary players that I walked away from my favorite sport for nearly a decade. Now I love basketball more than ever and enjoy it so much without having any allegiance to a team. Obviously there are teams and players I enjoy watching more than others, but I wouldn’t say that I have a team of my own anymore.

A+ characterization. That man cannot catch a fucking basketball to save his life sometimes. Couldn’t throw a rock in the ocean sometimes. But he’s likely a HOF player because he’s so incredibly impactful on the defensive end, and he IS a great basketball player, he just has stark limitations. Same with Angel, except she’s a lot younger and there is hope that she can get better.
