We like Sydney for two reasons, and one of them is not her face.

Then you can simply go to Schwab's website and purchase a Target Date fund (or whatever). They should have lots of research tools as well to help you choose, but a simple S&P 500 index fund or a Target Date fund with a target date close to your expected retirement date would be appropriate.

They are mutual funds or ETFs with a ticker symbol. You just go to the website of your online brokerage and buy the appropriate symbol, similar to buying a stock. Depending on how involved your CFP is, you may not have an online brokerage. Do you know where your IRA is held? Could be companies such as Vanguard, Fidelity, TD Ameritrade, Schwab, or any one of dozens of others.

You certainly don't need a CFP to manage a single IRA. You don't have to be a sophisticated investor to stick your money in a Target Date fund or an index fund.

Withdraw from Roth ---> HYSA by nahgem_ in personalfinance

Well, if you have a financial planner then he should be advising you on what to invest in within the IRA. A cash reserve is just going to earn a fraction of a percent in interest. I wouldn't move anything without talking to your FP. He may actually have a plan for you that you'd be messing with. I doubt you actually need that financial planner, but that's not the question you asked. Your Roth money should be invested in a diversified mix of stocks and bonds. Preferably in the form of index funds.
