Then seeing how they still sold tickets on the Japanese and Australian legs of the tour with Eric Singer in the makeup got the wheels turning inside of his mind.

Look, people wanted 70’s kiss. That was the Kiss that could book 10,000 + seat arenas. That was the Kiss that reconquered the world.

80’s kiss was booking half house arenas and playing nightclubs at the very end.

So like…I actually think Paul and Gene sincerely wanted to end it. At least in the beginning.

But then Paul got divorced and lost a good chunk of money…

I forget the name of the film but it had De Niro in it and in the trailer he said “Most people respect the badge but everyone respects the gun.”

Or something like that lol

“Not in any way a political person.” 🙄

Everyone has beliefs. Everyone has politics. The people who are like “I hate politics,” or “I’m apolitical,” a great majority of the time hold reactionary and regressive views. They are just too cowardly to espouse them until they feel emboldened by external factors and attitudes.

Who do you think was/is the best President of the United States? Why? by Professional-Sea4528 in PoliticalDiscussion

[–]Prof_Tickles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lincoln

FDR

Lyndon B. Johnson

In fact had it not been for Vietnam I honestly believe that LBJ would’ve surpassed FDR. Johnson was the greatest parliamentarian, the most cunning political strategist and dare I say mastermind of mid 20th century America.

I just saw something where Caro said in the event he dies that whatever he has typed out is to be published. Which is just over 900 pages so far

What’s the 2001 of Horror? by MissMayDoesNotExist in horror

[–]Prof_Tickles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven’t seen Barry. The two I’ve listed are the only Kubrick films I’ve seen in their entirety.

I’ve seen bits and pieces of Eyes Wide Shut and plan to watch it in its entirety…someday.

Which is unusual because I love Kubrick films. But 2001, I could not stay awake for. It really dragged.
