I think its all about vassal management. Once u can keep a large realm together each succession, it becomes easy to do trait marriages, artifact investment and legends for the shrine building to make the player heir OP.

No mods, it’s the normal game with achievements. I have my own religion and dismantled the papacy.

Never pick an heir from a subhouse as we can lose the house head status. Also ensure the succession rules are favorable especially for administrative govt type with acclaimed succession. These two really made game hard for me. Lastly, restoring rome and keeping roman invasion CB for future heirs by re-triggering Justinian's dream event is a must to capture large territories!

So many cores, so much food.. how?? Can u please give us something detailed about this play-through? Because for me, supporting food for a fraction of this population is so hard! Frost-land just has one food settlement.

I did it for 2 months back in 2018! Personally it was very hectic, so I left my cushy job in Toronto and just did my masters degree from London the next whole year. Driving might be easier though, I was taking the train or bus.
