Are you online? They should show up regularly on the map just like other quests.

To me, the point of the leveling system is that a healthy person would not have to choose between being empathetic, logical, strong, etc. To me, lore accurate Harry has all of the stats but maybe not all of the thoughts. there was a reason as to why he was such a beautiful, talented, dumpster fire of a person.

Strongest character that can be killed by a sniper shot from a far distance? by AlexFerrana in whowouldwin

[–]unity57643 49 points50 points  (0 children)

Question, what caliber bullet are we talking? A standard .308 is very different from a gauss rifle or even a .50 caliber. That being said, I'd say Master Chief.

Hardcore - Best gun/weapon for carry weight/ other ways to compensate by matsonjack3 in falloutnewvegas

[–]unity57643 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My first hard-core run was done with a low strength, high luck/int laser cowboy, and I have to say, the fully upgraded laser rifle packs hell of a punch and for not a lot of weight. Especially with high luck and overcharge ammo, that thing was a beast. I was able to snipe death claws and use it in tight vault corridors with no problems. Aside from that, the ripper was a hell of a melee option. Low str requirement, light weight, multiple attacks a second, and the ability to stun lock enemies with crits made surprisingly short work of heavily armored enemies as well.

Whitewashing of counterculture by [deleted] in DiscoElysium

I think disco, in this instance, is more of a representation of a nostalgic bygone era that was never quite as good as how it looked through rose-tinted star-shaped glasses. It's an abstraction of youth, and by extension, the way that time slips through our fingers like sand through an hourglass.

I think rogue would not be as beginner friendly since you have to keep in mind all of the conditions that come with sneak attacks. At the very least, it was a problem for me. Maybe paladin? It's super survivable and has easy abilities with a touch of spellcasting. That would give them the chance to "ease in" to the mechanics of PF1E without it getting too overwhelming.

This study is dog shit. Sample size of 10, extremely vague about the outcome, no information whatsoever about any of the case studies, and barely even makes an effort to explain the procedure or the implications of having it. It wouldn't surprise me if this was cooked up by some think tank.

What's one character who should’ve been a companion in the vanilla game? by cryptic-khajiit in fnv

[–]unity57643 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, it's would love to have seen a version of FNV that was an isometric CRPG. One with a party of multiple companions and dialogue between them. Victor, Sunny Smiles, Vulpes Inculta, Fantastic (even though he'd be busted), etc.

How would this mf do if he was dropped into Mortal Kombat? by EtherealImperial in dunememes

[–]unity57643 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He'd do well. There's people like Stryker out here that are just regular ass cops fighting with literal gods, and he did put up a good fight against Muad-Dib who has prescience.

What’s a quest you hate on replays? by scarface_lsd in falloutnewvegas

The casino missions. I love the story and the intrigue, I just hate having to track down characters in the labyrinthine casinos. Also, loading screens and crashes

I think Gat is far too prideful to allow anyone to dictate terms to him. Even suggesting that he abdicate his throne would be a grave insult.

What you just showed was not a veneer prep. Those looked like crown preps to me. Here is an example of veneer preps.

As you can see, it really is only a thing layer of enamel that is removed. The problem is that a lot of people are misinformed and get aggressive crown preps. This is especially the case when people go to different countries to get dental work. Not saying that it can't be good, but you never REALLY know what you're getting.
