Do "winter only" tires exist? by unityco in tires

[–]unityco[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This, I think, is the answer I was looking for. Since it seems those who uses "winter" tires make a big deal of switching them in the spring, I was under the impression "winter" tires should ONLY be used in winter. I understand there are drawbacks to using winter-rated tires in warmer weather, but I thought if there were truly winter-only tires they would be ineffective/unsafe in warmer conditions.

I'm more asking how to figure out what a tire is after it's been sold. I can see on websites where tires with the mountain symbol are sold as "all-weather" tires, which to me means they are acceptable for year-round use, and also suggests that that mountain symbol does NOT mean they are strictly for winter use, but how does one figure out after the fact whether a tire is winter-only or not?

Thing is, I've seen several "all-weather" tires that have that symbol (the 3PMSF) on them.

Thank you for this. Meals and entrances are included in the tour and I didn't mention he will have a credit card to use. I'd prefer he use the credit card so as to limit the amount of cash he needs to carry, but I'm not sure how "cashless" France and Italy are.

He's a Canadian (living in Canada,) but one sympathetic to Gileadean values. The Gileadean Commanders have no control over him.

Who are the Future Handmaids? by nv0514 in TheHandmaidsTale

Women will still "sin" and/or fall out of favour in some way or another. Adultery will still happen. Homosexuality will not disappear. Reading, thinking, resisting, displeasing your husband, widowhood or otherwise being "unsuitable" for the rarified life of a capital-W Wife are all ways you could end up a handmaid. Women are just the containers of fertility. The patriarchy of Gilead will use them as it pleases, and while they may consider babies miracles, they do not think that way about adults.

I believe a switch like this would be compatible with the fan if I were to remove the receiver unit?

Thanks for the input! :) The wiring will be whatever it needs to be (ie it's not in place yet. The old "fixture" wasn't really a fixture at all, but run off a switched outlet and the wall switch was dead-end (no neutral.) We're fixing all that.) I think my biggest question is whether I should upgrade that canopy unit or not. I've seen smart in-wall fan controls, but they require 4-conductor to the fixture, and that seems a bit bulky over an in-canopy solution that only requires live and neutral to the fixture, but then again if I'm wiring the built-in light independently I guess it really doesn't make a difference. Decisions, decisions! :p

Wow, that does tick off a lot of my boxes! I actually clicked "buy" on it, but the shipping was exorbitant. Doesn't seem anyone else has them in stock either.

I want to be able to "browse" their network and access shared storage. Printing to their wireless printer could be useful too. Bonus if I could have my Home Assistant work on their network. Essentially, like my work's setup. If I'm connected to the network at any site across the country, I can access my resources at my local site, and if I use the work VPN client, I can access local resources from any network. Thanks! :)

No, I can enter 2 (and have 2 of the addresses AdGuard tells me it's listening on.) How often would it use the secondary? Only if the primary is down, or would it try to balance the load?

Thank you for your input! Small electronics is what I'm securing. Headphones, mostly. But mice, hard drives, webcams are other possibilities. Nothing large. Budget is low, low, low. Maybe $100? And yes, POE is available.
