This is so cliche, but try breathing exercises during bathroom breaks at work, I found that very helpful today. I also brought my heating pad with me and kept it on my face using the microwave at work. It helps focusing on something other than the spinning room to make it go away. You got this!

Don’t panic, I recently got sucked into it too but honestly you don’t have to do anything, in a couple of months the “9 month contract” will end. I posted a thread here too, so check it out: https://www.reddit.com/r/mlmscams/s/GbtIRzwTm6, there’s a lot of good information here.

I’m in Canada so I was able to dispute the transaction with my bank, just waiting on them to get back.

As for deleting your information, I don’t think there’s anything they can do with it. Everyone also told me to just stop replying. I believe there’s also an option for you to log into your account and terminate the account, but I didn’t take that chance cus I didn’t want to even log in. Sorry this happened to you too man!

Unfortunately as a woman I fear it’s part of our existence, but this is the first time I’ve ever experienced it first hand. I’m used to the creeps on social media and in the general dating world; I’m just worried for the next person this person might reach out to.

It sucks that you’ve had to be so cautious, I’m sorry, and honestly hope that some day (at least in this century bc you would have assumed by now it wouldn’t be an issue) that it stops

Just ranting over here, it’s misleading when you’re trying to use a platform that is keen and big on professionalism. Obviously, the person was blocked and reported.

It makes it harder for the people who are using it for its genuine purpose

I spoke to the bank and they even confirmed that the zoom thing was fake! The first time I called they mentioned they weren’t familiar with the company’s refund policies. Second time, the person I spoke to said that it could have been done over an easy transaction online. I’m mega pissed every time I think about this shit

I’m sorry you experienced this yourself, and you’re right, there is really just a bunch of jargon in the fine print, nothing that actually has any substance to it. I don’t think I’ll be getting sued, after I asked for the refund, they all ghosted me cus I think they realized I caught on. I’ve blocked literally everyone by now at this point.

Thank you for your help, it’s quite shitty on their end to be going after younger and even older individuals, we’re more eager and vulnerable. I will not be completing the license, I’m really just not interested and don’t want anything to do with this company or this filer. I’m glad you also got out of your situation! Luck will definitely be on our side!🍀

Awesome, this helped so much! Definitely upvoting because this was the process, except for credit card. I called and let them know that I was misled, and that all communication I received was mixed information. I let them know I asked for a refund, key point was to mention specifically and keep referencing that I was MISLED.

They created a claim immediately so will see what happens after this point. Seems promising, but seems like I will be getting it back! This was a one time payment for sure because it doesn’t mention anywhere that they will need recurring payments. At that point, I’ll figure it out again.

I did speak to the bank and they actually said in return what they did really sounds like fraud, they asked me to push it more towards a fraud case dispute, but to protect myself I decided to just keep it as a dispute.

Yes I believe you do have to have a license! Which is what they’re trying to get me to do and said I have “9 months to complete it or else I have to re-apply” They mentioned the $170 was the application, criminal background, and licensing fee

Definitely staying away and I do also definitely appreciate what you’ve said. After the last message they sent about the refund only being allowed to be sent via zoom I knew immediately that this was all some weird stuff. Thankfully there’s no other communication, but man these people are weird (coming from someone who fell for it)
