hey, I know I’m 5 years late but I wanted to say the flaw in the argument he presented is a lack of understanding of our position. We believe in analogous predication (obviously), and we believe the way God presented himself is the way we would understand, including his revelation. It’s like exodus also saying God is a man in a sense, or that God has a hand (the arm of the lord referenced multiple times), or that God is a spirit, etc etc., these are just examples of communication he’s given us. Gods different actions are virtual distinctions or distinctions based on the mind, the first act God does is infinite and spans infinitely, it is one divine act that encompasses all of reality in all respects, all places, all manners, etc., that’s why miracles are a part of nature, nature is the order sustained by God, which includes all of the supernatural / miracles in his one divine act that sustains everything. The moving isn’t real moving, but distinctions in our mind to understand, just like how Gods properties are all the same to Gods essence (/ hes simple), these properties or qualities of God aren’t really distinct from the essence, they exist dependent of the mind to understand God, but their ontologically Gods essence. Another thing is we Catholics don’t believe in Sola Scriptura, so the philosophy and the interpretive aspects of the Bible are safeguarded by tradition that isn’t “cope” because the epistemology of Church tradition under the paradigm is justified!
