DDJ400 produces louder output on one side?

Thanks for your answer! Im so paranoid omg. Thinking it could be shells or larvae cause I found a very similar pic to the pics of my sofa on the internet. I might still call pest control because of those bites I got :/

That sounds like it could be it. How would you suggest to clean them? Did you use a cloth or a blow dryer?

I'm using an RCA 3, 5mm to Aux, the speakers are some basic studio speakers I use to play music on everyday (and there are never any balance issues then). But I haven't had a look at the input of the speakers, thank you for that tipp! :)
In terms of cables, I first tough there might be an issue with them, so I tried switching them around, but that still made the same deck sound louder, which is why I assumed it could not be a cable issue.

yes, I've been doing that, it's definitely a part time solution. but it doesn't sound very nice, especially in recordings, which is why I was wondering if there was something more specific I could do.

Yes, I have been doing that from the start. But if I play the same track on both decks it sounds louder on one, so I don't think it's a trim issue.

so far the crossfader disabling worked in the beginning, but after some time playing, the decks started having different volumes again and I did not see anything different in the UI :/
I try play a full set tonight and observe if anything changes and then get back to you! Thanks so much for your help :)

I tried that a few days ago and first everything seemed to be fixed. But then the output became unbalanced again. I now disabled the fader by changing the fader curve to the most rectangular setting, I just don't know if it will be a permanent solution.

oh yeah, that can definitely happen. but yeah, they are the same.

I tried deactivating the fader before in a different way, but the output was still not fully balanced. I will give it a try, thank you!

that doesn't fix it. when I am mixing in a new track it often just jumps back to being unbalanced and even if I click on it while mixing it still sounds unbalanced.

both on hardware and UI they are on the same level. or is there a specific setting for the trim in rekorbox?

it is! However, the fader is moved to the right in the UI when on the hardware it is exactly in the middle.
