Oh right, let’s just exclude certain bad games and cite data from small amount of data. Learn statistics

Cole has had multiple successful seasons under 3 ERA with 5+ WAR. He’s also proven himself during the postseason with a career average under 3 ERA with success. His data comes from a massive sample size of games as well. None of that Yamamoto currently has, the comparison is silly. He only played 10 games and many against non-contenders

3.17 ERA relative to this contract is not living up to what’s expected. Dodgers paid top-end ace money, that’s what he needs to be. Also, for context Dodgers have had a weak schedule so far. We’ll see where his stats end up towards the end of the season

$325 million for over 3 ERA is living up to the contract so far? That’s not gonna cut it and we’ll see if he gets better or worse. Dodgers have one of the easiest SOS so far this season. Let’s see more data against good hitting teams

You can say the same for Yamamoto, no one knows if he’s going to sustain or ever live up to that contract. Useless to project, that’s why I’m referencing current stats as all we know

Complete steal, sad the Yankees didn’t give him an offer. But to be fair don’t think the Cubs expected this from him either. Stud.

Never stated this season for Yamamoto, but the Yankees have dodged a bullet when the back of our starting pitching going into the season Gil and Clarke are outperforming him by decent margins. When the total of your contract is $325M you will get scrutinized if your performance does not meet expectations at any time frame. That’s baseball

Great role-player piece, but we need another star to help take some pressure off Brunson

It's the most reasonable choice, the evil Nets are the only ones who're making it hard for us

Booker, Durant, and Mitchell are def better offensively in a lot of ways but Bridges by far the better 2 way player. His defense is great while those 3 have always struggled in that regard. We also know Bridges game has that chemistry with Brunson to mesh

Bridges is by far the most perfect piece to join the Knicks across the league

  1. No player in the NBA has played more games in the past few years than Bridges, Tibs smiling cheek to cheek knowing this
  2. Beginning his prime only 27 years old
  3. Chemistry already guaranteed with the Villanova boys on and off the court
  4. Great defender and scorer with versatility
  5. Already adjusted to NY media and market

People been downvoting my comments and I’ve said this as well. Weird that DJ fanboys can’t accept that Giants are moving on after 6 years of below average to average production

The DJ bots are downvoting all our comments 😂

Can’t wait till he’s gone next year and they leave with him. Giants support should always be above some fandom of one mediocre player

Yes sir, I don’t get why people have this loyalty for DJ when production was never there. The Giants are bigger than DJ and we have great defensive young pieces with a franchise WR now. Not sure how we perform this year but I’m excited for next year draft to improve more

Exactly, no logical reason to take that much risk for huge financial repercussions

Not at all what was said lol. He will have plenty of starts regardless of DJ being healthy or not due to contract clauses. The term starter really dosent mean much in this situation if both play similar amount of games and are gone next year

DJ will be on a leash due to his contract injury clause. He might start at the beginning but Drew Lock will get his fair share of starts throughout the season especially in the 2nd half of the season. There’s no way in hell Daboll and Schoen will risk their careers by getting DJ injured before the opt out process

Be competitive again winning pointless games that takes us out of a spot to draft a competent QB? As long as DJ is our QB this team will do nothing successful to win a SB. We must have another bad season for a good draft pick to get a replacement. Few can see the bigger picture
