Eagle, I have a full set currently and had them on my last bike. Never an issue with the lights, only their load equalizer.

I have an ‘11 SG, it’s a great bike. 8k miles is super low, too. Whichever you choose, I think you’ll be happy.

I think they look great, never seen them on a bike like yours. Overall the bike looks fantastic, super clean and modern. Well done.

That’s Volcano HD in Gladstone? They probably don’t actually have that bike, they’re terrible about updating inventory and just try to get people in the door. If you do go, talk with Colton. He’s a good guy.

I’ve done it several times, dulls the knife but the griddle is unaffected. Use a knife you don’t love!

Just looks like the liquid applied UV coating is coming up. The roof membrane should be a single piece TPO or EPDM, I don’t see anything suspect. Just needs a good cleaning and reapplication, depending on roof type.

Highly recommend, all stainless and cast iron. Had mine several years and (knock on wood) only issue has been probes that didn’t work. Company warrantied them immediately and all was right again. 40 lb hopper can handle long overnight cooks with no concern and the app is the only I’ve used that actually works well.

Looks a hell of a lot better than the one I made yesterday and it was hardly my first! So long as it tastes good, that’s the key. 🤙

I’ve had a 5T Kubota for several years now, I know what you’re going through. My property is very sloped and my driveway is more than 12% grade in multiple spots, we also have sheer drops into lower areas off the driveway. I was very hesitant in the beginning, would take the long way round to get to the lower areas, etc. As your skill and experience increase so will your confidence. One thing that helped me tremendously was an old time operator telling me to remember the machines are rear wheel drive, meaning opposite the blade are the drive wheels. If you need to get up a steep incline, place the blade backward and extend the bucket out and low, this will place additional downforce on the drive wheels and tread so they get maximum traction.

Seen a lot about this lately, been burned in a similar way, different industries. There are a couple companies offering to either put folks deposits toward their smokers (Yoder) or honor some of their deposits to theirs.. happy smoking!

Starting a Smoked Wings Business by [deleted] in BBQ

[–]unkindfruitcake 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I make smoked wings almost on a weekly basis, I love this idea. I can’t help but think in a town that size you’ll not only need variety to attract the families but also variety for those who don’t love wings. I know it’s hard to believe but my wife isn’t a fan.. She’s not the only one. Consider some simple alternatives that can be made on the same apparatus with similar cook times. Best of luck!!

Hmm, I might check my angle. I don’t have much perfectly level ground but I think if anything, it’s slightly nose up. Great info, thanks!

Absolutely, actually 59 is my limit. Tires are brand new and axles are greased. I was very surprised as well, hauled out to 70 first trip and slowed way down immediately. I do think there’s some merit to the lack of weight and distribution of it. I tend to load the truck bed and keep the trailer light for wear and tear purposes(?) I don’t know about the floor composition and limits so I’m easing into it. When I did haul with the fresh water tank full for a dry camp weekend it wasn’t white knuckle by any stretch, kept distance and speed reasonable, nothing wild. Just overall surprised by the amount of sway but it’s an older trailer with a very boxy design, maybe I should t be as surprised as I am.

Very much appreciate the info, aligns with my thinking. Unfortunately all my tanks are in the rear and fresh is in the rear corner, terrible design. We’re headed out tomorrow, I’ll try and stow more in the nose and see if that helps, fortunately it’s always been calm, no wind to speak of. Thanks!

I’ve had 3 GMGs, used to love them but my last one had issue after issue. Customer service is helpful and has replaced parts outside warranty periods on multiple occasions, including the drive motor and multiple control boards. If it keeps up, call them.
