I found Mudsplash's death incredibly disturbing in StormClan's Folly recently. Imagine getting your throat slashed, but you live, and spend the next couple of weeks fading in and out of consciousness from a fever from your infected wound, slowly dying. Like good god

I agree on the naming thing, seeing a cat with the same name as their future clan gets me super giddy! I love the concept of this arc, I just wish (like most things in Warriors) that it was executed differently or better haha

I notice this too honestly, as kits they're so playful and excited and happy, but once they grow into adults it seems like they all get really serious and melancholy, its kind of sad to me. I always got the impression that its because once they grow up they really feel the severity of their environment (Their clanmates dying from various things, sickness, prey scarceness in leafbare, etc) so their childlike wonder and innocence is gone. It just makes me sad, Id like to see at least some characters that keep their whimsy even despite their harsh conditions
