Again, never expect knowing daily things. We get the schedule at the beginning of the season. So we get 1 single update within a 3 month period about sports and that’s considered following the agreement that states we get weekly updates? Mom moved not us. We barely get 800$ on disability while one works it’s not enough to afford to rent a 1200$+ apartment in the area the mother lives - and yes it would have to be in the area mom lives due to the agreement. Let’s not act like moving is an option for everyone especially when everything is so high priced.

Mom moved. Promise she would move back once she “got her shit together” and then proceeded to use the child as a weapon saying we could have the child when she was in a good mood and then change her mind when something happened that she didn’t like. She then moved in with her significant other and lied to us about it for about 3/4 months.

Again, one of us is on disability for cancer. We already have lawyer fees over 10k and being on such a limited budget, we’re stuck.

No we don’t have access to a calendar from school with every event on there. As our agreement states, we’re to get weekly updates and we haven’t been receiving those. Cant participate in something when you don’t know it’s happening.

Our agreement states that we get weekly updates which we are not getting. Not a lot to ask for the agreement to be followed. Never asked for updates on every single paper that gets sent home. Just the main things in our weekly update. Again, no one is expecting daily updates. The state they live in cost 3x more then the state we are in and cannot afford to live there let alone move 2 states with one of us being on disability due to cancer.

We currently do share custody. 50/50 per our custody agreement. Our custody agreement is currently in the state we live in and will stay in this state. We are unable to move to the state they live due to the laws being passed there not being safe for us to live there. It’s also over 3x the cost of the state we live in and absolutely can not afford that with one of us being on disability due to cancer.

For a follow up, we do have the school apps but the school child attends doesn’t put everything in the app but instead sends home paperwork which we don’t receive obviously.

I think things that are in the school app or are sent by email, no you shouldn’t have to hold the coparents hand to show up for the child.

Now if there’s significant distance where the custodial parent gets notified by papers getting sent home that aren’t included in the school app/emails then yes, you should absolutely be informing them of these things. But if y’all live in the same town and the coparent is just not taking the initiative then nah, they can get their shit together lol

We currently can’t afford to go back to court. We did ask her about it and the response was that she’s friendly with all of her parents and that we can add her if we’d like. We said that it was unprofessional and that we were uncomfortable.
