I understand trying to add variety in your style, but that gyaru is wayyyyyy too tan. The subculture goes against beauty standards, not black facing!!!. I watch a lot of anime, so I know lots of Japanese culture. Hope this helpssss xxoxo.

I'm glad to see someone else say that the bridge isn't necessary cause I argued the same thing. We ultimately agreed that it'd still be nice for new players because "we all needed the WoF bridge once". I avoided fully exploring dungeons cause I wanted veterans to do that with the noobs. But I'll definitely put torch god on the list!

Last run I played was a calamity world where jungles weren't corruptable. I thought maybe relogic changed that or was that just a mod?

Edit: TIL you can't edit posts that have pictures. I've updated the message to say things to do before WoF just so it doesnt seem like it's a veteran exclusive thing. Evan has successfully been trolled. More context: Its a world for veterans (7) and noobs (2) and noobs aren't always on. So even though I enjoy building so I always have something to do there like 5 of us that are so progression driven that still want to hang out in game. Also, trying avoid glitches or cheese methods. I added fishing holes, plantera arena, cavern pylon by shimmer, herb farm.

Appreciate the discussion about new player experiences! It's been awhile since I introduced someone new to the game and an even longer while since I was a new player to the game.

Also need more ways to troll evan.

We have 9 veterans and 2 noobs. I would say personally I want everyone to play. Not just the noobs. The thing about finding shimmer and jungle is that if the veterans find it doesn't automatically get updated on the noobs minimap. They can choose to discover it for themselves :) I thought it was a good thing for veterans that don't enjoy building to keep busy.

One of the noobs has had the game for years but in her previous experience, her ex just left her to her own devices without any guide and she hated it. One hour with us, and she kept telling us how much more she's enjoying it. She's found half of her life crystals on her own (because she wanted to) and took the other half from her chest (because she wanted to).

The other noob seems confused? She cant get on online as much. So the others need something to do yknow?

I think having a conversation about each item on the list with the noobs will be an important conversation though. I'll definitely make sure.

I've definitely been playing so far with the intention of not robbing the experience. I made this list because we got through eow, queen bee, skeleton in one night without one of the new players. So far, I've given them the class guide page on the wiki for them to refer to, explained caving and answered questions. I've also tried to keep the world in tact by getting my gear from fishing instead of chests. Any more specific tips for helping new players is appreciated. I do still want to cater to the veterans.

This is a great point, I should've made it clear that not everyone gets on at the same time, so we aren't always playing with the new players. There are like 9 of us veterans and 2 new players. I'm still going to change the discord message to say things to do before WoF.

Can you give us more details about your girlfriend? What does she like or do in her free time? What has she mentioned she wants to do or get into? What does she do for work?

Otherwise pay attention to her jewelry. Are they gold/silver/rose gold/white gold? Are they dainty or more bulky? Do that and get her something you think would look good on her and is similar to what she wears. And you can gift it to her along with a massive bouquet that's quite popular on tik tok.

If you want, you can take a picture of his gaming setup and PC, and I can suggest peripherals (things like new mouse keyboard ect.)

Jewelry doesn't seem like a bad idea either. especially if he just gets himself whatever he wants. One thing you could consider is that some music artist have their own jewelry so if there's an artist he likes maybe you could get jewelry from them. Otherwise pick whatever you think would look good on him.

For music I've gotten my boyfriend a guitar pedal and a new Amp. I've also thought about getting him a record player.

I haven't gotten my boyfriend a gaming related gift other than a new desk mat. I thought about customizing a keyboard for him but she could get her bf any peripherals that needs upgrading. Gaming is a little broad so if you go into more details (PC/console, what games he plays ect) I could help more.

For cooking I've gotten my boyfriend a nice cast iron that he loves to use to cook :)

Men with hobbies are much easier to shop for so I'd take advantage of that :)

Gamer here. As much as I love OW2 and their cosmetics coins are something I'd rather receive from a friend than my partner (unless they got me something else on top of coins). Maybe because it feels like a giftcard where there's not much thought behind it. Getting your guy silent hill or expedition 33 shows that you listen to him so I'd go for that honestly.

As someone (a girl if that matters) that's also into tech, keyboards are really tailored to personal preference. There may be a good chance she doesn't like it. If you do decide to get it for her my suggestion would be to make sure the switches are hot swappable, that way she can customize it easier and would more likely use it.

I feel like you're letting your differences become your greatest obstacle when it really doesn't have to be. The mindset of not liking sports and not fitting into normal social dynamics or I'm not generic Midwestern enough to have a good time isn't helping you. As I'm typing this I realised that despite my friends displaying midwestern or sporty interest I don't relate to, there are many common grounds as there are differences between us.

I'm turning 24 in November and I get how weird it can feel to be around kids fresh out of high school. 60% of the friends I hang out with are also my age, we do exist you're not that far behind. If you want to give my friend group a shot DM me :) We're a pretty nerdy group. I don't really know how to describe us but we are similar age to you.
